Quantum teleportation is a technique that allows the transfer of quantum information between two distant quantum objects. It involves two distant, entangled particles, where the state of a third particle instantly "teleports" its state to the two entangled particles.
Nature
Quantum teleportation is not about transferring the information physically, but instead on transferring the state of the information. The sender sends two bits of classical information, and the receiver applies a transformation to their half of the EPR pair, guided by the two bits of classical information.
Quantum teleportation cannot occur faster than the speed of light because classical information needs to be sent.
